"You idiot, stop phoning...nothing's happened yet...,"

Unable to contain my excitement, I've just rang Phil to find out whats going on, only to be greeted by, "What are doing? This call's costing both of us, you simple man!!"

Yes, from the usual dour response, Phil is safe and sound, wandering the streets of Tel Aviv with a fellow olive picker, Hip Hop afficienado...which sounds good...

umm...yeah...thats about it...but i was so excited, I had to call...

Anyhow, we went to see Khamsa (silent 'k') at the Gallery Café in Bethnal Green last night, and they were pretty good! Can't wait for em to start practising with Queens English for CT:101...

Also met a guy called Phil Vellender, a very interesting gent running an event on 15 February at the Cross Kings at King's Cross, in aid of raising money for medical supplies for Palestine... he even offered Scott C and Khamsa a very prestigious jazz gig at Vortex...so that was nice...definitely going there to flier drop...

Also got another meet next week with the Amnesty UK lot, which is very exciting...added to this, the missus is coming over from Croatia...Good Times!!!

At 1:56PM GMT recieved txt msg from Phil:
"Whatup! I'm in Tel Aviv already. Went staright thru airport without any probs! Mad! peace, PHILTH!"

So there we have it! Phil is safe, and unmolested by Tel Aviv airport security, which as many peeps who've travelled over there will understand, is pretty amazing!

In other news, Ian from SO Management gave me a ring earlier, about a project that LowKey, rapper from Poisonous Poets and super-group Mongrel, has set up - a palestine awareness website, details of which to follow, when it goes live...so keep your eyes peeled to this spot for more info...

I'm meeting Ben from Ctrl.Alt.Shift magazine at some point over the weekend/early next week to discuss other CT:101 events, which should be wicked...and last night ARK design collective pledged their support for what we're doing! which is pretty awesome...

Lets see what the coming weeks will hold...
